Bullpitt claims 5th at home track

Dennis Bullpitt clawed his way back to a top 5 finish in Round 4 of the GW Racing Modified Production Series held at Charlton Raceway Saturday Night (7th March).  After qualifying from position 13 in the 25 lap main event, Bullpitt was able to steer clear of several accidents and charge his way to a 5th place finish, giving him valuable points towards the series.  With one round remaining Dennis will be hoping for a strong finish after a slow start to the season caused by engine woes.

Heat one of the night saw Bullpitt start from position ten.  Bullpitt steered clear of several cars after Aidan Raymont half spun in front of the field causing a chain reaction of events.  Dennis went on to cross the line in 6th place.

Starting from sixth place in heat two, Bullpitt once again moved forward claiming two positions to finish 4th behind Mark Raymont.

The final heat saw Dennis and Rodney Pammenter on the front row.  Pammenter got the jump and raced to the lead with Bullpitt in 2nd.  Dennis ran wide and struggled with the changing track conditions as he dropped back to finish in 5th place.
